[W126 Coupe] [W126 coupe] Hissing sound behind the cluster

This could also be the headlamp elevation control which is a controlled 
vacuum leak.  Do you have the dial sitting next to thew headlamp switch 
designed for manual control of the euro headlamp reflectors??
