[W126 Coupe] 1984 500 SEC dash wood peeling away

We have a 1984 500 SEC that  has spent her first summer in the central Texas heat after spending 25 years in California. Now the wood grain on the dash has partially sprung free. I don't know if the heat melted the glue, but all I know is that I have to do to reattach it. Does anyone know what I should do? I'm certainly going to use wood oil to try to save it once its back in place. Any idea about that as well? 

Also, the headliner has partially detached in the back from the heat I'm guessing. Poor baby, but she has to live outside now. Any suggestions greatly appreciated.
