[W126 Coupe] back seats and driver's side mirror

My 1981 500SEC has no screws.  The seat backs slide over 3 connection tabs - 2 at the top of the seat back which are part of the body and one at the bottom center of the seat back that is a piece of spring metal inserted into a formed holder that is part of the body.  To remove the seat back simply slide straight up until the seat back disconnects from and is clear of the tabs then remove the seat by pulling the entire seat back toward the front of the vehicle.  

Probably easier if you remove the bottom cushions first.  Lift the front edge of the bottom cushion until it releases and clears the holding posts then slide foreward.  

See the attached pic.  You can see some tabs and a bottom post in the attached pic.  I am sure they are called something other than tabs and posts but you get the idea.

Postings remain property of MB Coupes, L.L.C.The seat backs in my w126 coupe had a couple of small screws at the bottom edge that had to be removed before lifting up and out.

  The mirror has a small keeper collar that you have to slide out of the handle before the handle pulls to the rear.  
  With the door open, look at what would be the front side of the handle, and you should see the narrow section with grooves in it.  
  Push that part outward, toward the door and the pivot point.  
  It should pop out slightly, along with a circular collar that was pressed into the handle around the metal shaft that comes out of the door.
