KE control unit/computer is located on the passenger side, inside the car.
Not in the footwell, but the "sidewell", imagine you are sitting in the pass
seat, take your right foot and touch that little carpeted panel to the right
under and to the side of the dash, its under that small piece in front of
the door. Its slid into a clip holding it in place with a wiring harness
attached. I attached a pic of one so you know what you are looking for.
Again another good item to swap from a known good car to see if it changes
anything, that's what I did on my cars to figure out what was going on.
