[W126 Coupe] Speedometer Problem

Hi Folks

    My current speedometer had a face in MPH but was sratched out and 
roughly painted with black paint, the inner ring is in KPH (which I need for 
Australian roads),the odometer stopped  working and the needle had been 
damaged & bent.I had tried to straighten it using a small spoon but despite 
being extra carefull  it snapped.I cannot seem to find any speedometer parts 
for sale.Options are
    A: Buy a used 560 one in KPH   (found just one and they want $400 AUD 
more than double a 420 one)
    B: Buy new aftermarket faces/dials for all the gauges and get repaires 
done.
    C: Buy a 420/380/500 ($195/$175 AUD)one that only goes to 240kph (so non 
original)and use adjustment device from Dakota Digital ($ 70 US +$70 US 
Postage)
    Any sugestions gratefully received.
