I have not done a 91 560SEC fuel pump package.

In all work I have done the fuel pump fuel connections were banjo to one
side and a stubbed out threaded tube to the other. The metal line goes
to the stubbed out ends and requires (2) crush washers (seals) one to
either side of where the metal line slips over the threaded stub on the
pump. Don't know if I am doing a solid job of describing the two types
of fittings. You may be able to use the fittings from the old fuel pump
and then remove the nipple you refer to from the new pump. If the pump
permits the removal of the nipple, there will be a thin hex wrench
fitting on the nipple near the fuel pump body. If this is not the case,
you need to check with the supplier of the pump for advise.

Good luck,

Dick
