[W126 Coupe] 1991 560 SEC Fuel Pump Replacement

Has any of you replaced the fuel pump on a 1991 560 SEC?

The replacement I have doesn't seem exactly like the one on the car. The new
one has a metal fitting at the outlet end that looks like it is for a
push-on for a soft hose. The one on the car seems to have some sort of metal
tubing going from the rearmost pump  to the innermost fuel pump and I don't
know how it connects to the pump.

It seems to be crimped or pressed into the old pump. Maybe the outgoing line
is just pulled out of the pump and pushed by hand onto the "barbed" outlet
of the new pump.

I don't want to try to remove the old pump until I understand how to
disconnect the fuel line from the old pump and then connect the line onto
the new pump.

The software I have on the computer shows that I have the correct pump (#
003 091 53 01), but the way the outgoing line connects to the pump seems
different.

Does anyone have any comments?
