[W126 Coupe] Cruise Control update

Thanks for the info from Markus, Dick S, Dick D and Jay.

 

On my way back from work today, when it wasn't raining cats and dogs (still raining, though...), I decided to try the cruise control to verify that it was still violently switching in and out.

 

Only, it didn't......

 

Like I said in my first message, the cruise control has never been perfectly smooth, but this afternoon it was back to the way it always been behaving.

 

Again, thanks for the input. Based on your suggestions, I think a replacement unit is the way to go when the current one does give up the ghost.
