Could be a number of different issues.

 

If it is just the lights, I'd check out the dimmer to see if it's working properly.

 

You didn't put some 5 watt bulbs in place of the 3 watt bulbs did you? The higher wattage bulbs have in some clusters melted the surrounding plastic.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Instrument Cluster



On my 83 500 sec the instrument cluster lights all went out.  The green turn signals do light up.  Would the problem be a fuse or would a bad fuse also cut out the turn signals?
