Hi Camran
I'm supposed to go go back in a couple of weeks to check if readjustments are needed after I have run through a full tank of gas. I'll ask then.

Hi Tom- can you find out the name of the "German made fuel injector cleaner"? I would love to use some in mine since it also runs a little rough.

Thanks,
Camran

First of all, I want to thank everybody for all their suggestions for what the problem(s) might be. A special thanks to Dick Spellman for helping to identify a good indy shop here in Silicon Valley. I brought the car in to the shop and the guy immediately had some ideas where to look. It turns out I had a couple of minor problems. The fuel pump relay had a solder joint that looked like it had an intermittent connection and there were 2 other suspects that he soldered. Also, the fuel distributor needed to be flushed. He also adjusted the Lamda and cleaned the plate. Lastly, he put in some German made fuel injector cleaner as it was still slightly rough on startup. Total labor was 1 hour and total bill was $131. There is a tiny bit of roughness which he says is because the motor mounts are flat and some of the engine vibration is being transmitted through the chassis. But with 205k on it, I think that is pretty minor. Again, thanks all!
