[W126 Coupe] Rear spheres

Hi Folks

    I am in the process of fitting the above,should I syphon the fluid 
resovoir or just clamp off the rubber hoses connected to the spheres to 
prevent excess fluid loss.I understand they are pressurised so unlike brake 
hoses the clamping may not work.
