It's ironic you use the quote by Vaclav in conjunction with your statement on the subject... 



I have thought for quite some time now, 3 years or so, that the SEC would be a great candidate for an EV conversion. 



1. It is by design a quiet car to begin with. 

2. It's a real car, rather than the crap EV's you see MFG's putting out, with exception of Tesla... 

3. EV's could use some credibility... The SEC would deliver in that area. 

4. One could utilize the entire engine bay and fuel tank area between the seat and trunk for batteries. 

5. Utilize IN-Wheel electric motors at each corner for an all wheel drive and regenerative braking system. Very efficient... 



Yes, it would require courage to do this, but I believe, a possible and worthy pursuit. Not much more difficult than putting a V12 in an SEC... ;-)

Really not the right car for the project. It is very heavy and there is 
little accessible space for a ton of batteries. Do yourself a favor and 
find another project.
