[W126 Coupe] Euro headlight adjustment

I have a question about raising the beams on Euro cars.  My '87 SEC (Euro) has the knob on the dash that allows me to raise and lower the headlights.  I would like to raise them further than they are at the highest point.  Can I do that with the knob that Mister McGoo mentioned?

  Two different things.  All headlights are manually adjustable via the various knobs on the lights themselves.  Second, the euro ones with vacuum adjust allow you to change the height from within the car via a thumbwheel.  To do that you need the switch and vacuum lines.  Not all euro lights had this feature though.
