Most of the shipping "companies" are simply brokers. Once you sign up (and
send a deposit (their commission)) they find an available truck and driver.
It really is buying a pig in a poke.
I have shipped 3 cars that way and have had no problem. I have not shipped
by the firms with their own trucks because they are more expensive.
Basically, check them out, make sure they have licenses and buy insurance.
My cousin had a low mileage 2006 Corvette Z06 shipped open hauler and had no
trouble. I could ask who he used if you would like.
I would Google the start and stop points for your shipment and see who hauls
the route all the time. Check to see if they have a Carrier License or a
Broker License.
The last company I used was a Russian who did not speak english. While
hauling my 500SEC he tore the rear duelies off his truck and my car was
delayed a week. My car was fine and I gave him an extra tip for getting the
car to unscathed.
The following is a quote from a current web page ... does this sound like
english or english from a mid eastern eurpoe translator (LOL)
Are you containing a firm occasion deciding the correct automobile shipping
company? It is apparent to expression hard periods because you believe of
transferring your car from one place to another. It is significant to
comprehend some things so as to assist you decide the correct car transport
company. Moreover, one should have better sympathetic about vehicle shipping
indemnity industries. The extremely initial fixation to perform some study
about assorted companies so as to be proposing car transportation services
inside your vicinity.
Don't believe me, read for yourself

Final thought? Call your local car dealers and ask who they use. They are
shipping cars in and out all the time ... New, Used and rental fleet.
