[W126 Coupe] Dip stick

When my transmission on my SD started leaking, it ended up being where
the TV cable (Bowden cable) goes into the transmission, the o-ring had
hardened over the years and wasn't sealing any more.
I replaced it with a nitrile o-ring out of an assortment and haven't had
any problems since.
I'm not sure that o-ring is replaceable from below. It should be, but
unless you drop the pan so you can see the linkage from below, you could
loose track of the linkage that the cable connects to, and it's a pain
to get the new seal pushed down into the transmission housing once it's
been installed. (I used a tubing wrench slipped over the cable, and
then tapped it down the last bit with a dead blow hammer to force it to
seat...)
