[W126 Coupe] Speedometers

Hi Folks

    I have connect everyting after fitting the replacement speedometer,the 
cluster is loosley fitted for testing,problem is I cannot get the 
instruments to light up with the ignition on or off and there isnt any 
buzzer sound,the fuse is fine as are the bulbs/globes,this replacement does 
have a different part number 126 542 1657 whereas my old one was 126 542 
9201 I am just wondering if MB changed the multi plug wiring pattern.
