[W126 Coupe] Second W126 purchase this month and this time it's a coupe.

I'm a fairly new W126 owner but I have owned a few MB's in the past. I just
bought a 1987 560SEC that can best be described as a project car. While I am
familair with a few older benzes, the CIS-E setup is new to me.

I have owned big MB v8's and currently have a 6.3 and a 6.9 and a 500slc. I
know nothing about the 6.3 as it's waiting to be restored and hence i have
not fiddled with it, but I have done some tinkering with the 6.9 and the
500slc and have gotten to know regular CIS quite well.

The car in question has a pretty decent paint job and is painted very dark
blue. Some of the cladding is falling off and the interior is shot. These
will all be addressed in time as I manage to locate the parts. The thing
that concerns me more is the running issues. It starts and runs without
problems and idles quite well with a slight miss. However, between 800rpm
and 2500rpm, it has an agressive miss that smooths out as you move along.

I'm trying to figure out what the problem there is. You're thoughts and
opinions would be gratefully appreciated.
