[W126 Coupe] 1985 500 SEC stall

Just got back my 85 SEC from getting repaired.  When I brought the car in it had 1/2 tank of gas, as I never
let it go below 1/3 so the "gunk" doesn't plug up the fuel line.  Needless to say got it back below empty
and the reserve light was on.  Since then it has been hesitating when gas pedal is pressed for the first five minutes of driving.  Tonite it totally stalled in an intersection at night which was disconcerning. Added some STP fuel cleaner thinking it would solve the problem but it hasn't.  Any thoughts?
