[W126 Coupe] MBCOUPES - Tranny fluid change

Yes, and 15 W 40 in all my cars, diesel and gas.
If a car has used "regular" motor oil when new, switching to
synthetic which is really not a synthetic but has additives is
basically throwing money into a hole, in this cast the oil hole.
Synthetic for what it is worth is only good starting with a virgin
engine.

Had a 1973 Caddy, 472 cid V-8 which my father bought new, sold it
five years ago to a friend who wanted the motor for his 82 Dodge
pick up.
Car had 255,000 miles on it. Body was shot but motor was good.
Keith rebuilt the motor since he owned his own shop
He told me the "innards were like a 40,000 mile engine. " Car
always used 10W 40, changed oil and filter every three months
since new. Just a reference for synthetic and regular oil.
