[W126 Coupe] For Sale

I have a 1990 SEC with 110 K on it . Nice car, looks nice, drives fine, no  
issues, but if I were to price it , I would ask no more than $7500 and 
doubt I  could expect to receive more than $5000 tops if it actually sold. I 
only  drive it about ten thousand miles a year, so fuel costs are really not an 
issue  either. The main issue with these cars is the cost of repairs when 
they are  needed. The engine and drive train is quite good, but the  
suspension, accessories and ancillary equipment is no better  than  Ford or 
Chevrolet. They look really cool, but are highly over rated.  I use it on Saturday  
for a run to a movie, but for a trip of one  hundred miles or more, I use a 
Ford F-150 or a Jeep Commander. 
They are much more comfortable, just less panache.

I do agree with the  first point that folks are curtailing non-essential 
spending. There are  probably other reasons for the Coupes’ current low market 
prices as well.

In  today's economy and the gas prices at the pump I think you will have a 
hard  time selling for that price even in a condition as you  describe.

features including back window shade.  The car is in show room  condition with 70K 
miles; never driven in snow.  I had the timing chain  and all of the 
injectors replace at 60-K miles.  The car is perfect and  runs great.  It's white
