[W126 Coupe] 1984 500 SEC fuel delivery problem

I have installed a new fuel pump, and am still having problems.  Now I wonder if a further problem could be the fuel relay switch.  I have a switch which was in the glove compartment of the car when I bought it, but cannot be sure that it is the correct one.  Now I am awaiting delivery of a Chilton repair manual so that I can learn where the fuel relay switch is located.
