[W126 Coupe] VACUMN LEAK

This is for a 450SLC? The intake manifold is a quite difficult to remove but
as they sure that the leak is at the intake and not the air flow meter? The
fair flow meter goes into a big round rubber boot that is more likely to rot
and leak. $1800 certainly seems like a chunk of change for either job and
even if they replaced all of the cups, injector seals and intake gaskets, I
still do not see how that parts can rack up to $600. Get a second opinion
and maybe even a third one.
