Khaled,

Check your vacuum line connection to the shift modulator. Runs from
drivers intake manifold along the bell housing connecting to the
modulator on the transmission just about under your driver's seat. If
disconnected, the transmission will shift very hard into gears. You say
no smoke so modulator diaphragm is likely okay. Last item could be bad
linkage adjustments from accelerator to controls. Check the manual for
proper set-up of control linkage. Check your transmission fluid levels too.
