[W126 Coupe] transmission question

Hey guys I have a question about the transmission on my 1988 560 sec i finally got the car running the way i want with no oil leaks no oil burning running perfect. Then I take it out this morning to work and when the car shifts it really jerks the whole car it seems like the back just jumps out i don't no if this makes any sense please help i am located in San Jose Ca.
