Just an observation,
been there, done that
I do not trust any commercial tire cruising above 85 mph for a
prolonged period of time, (or a car for that matter)
If I want to or need to travel at a faster speed, I use a plane.
Too many variables on and near the road, unless you are driving
from Amarillo to Tucumcari.
May sound great to say "I did 115, etc.," but the reality is does
not pay.
Race cars are completely taken down a rebuilt after each race, with
most receiving a new motor, not rebuilding the old one.
TIres are changed frequently during a race
keep cruisin

as for ride, my 1978 Mercury Colony Park cruises at 85 mph. much
smoother with no noise and less effort than than my
1990 SEC is more comfortable can carry a lot more cargo and is
much easier and cheaper maintain
That is why race tracks exist.
