Wayne,
Always use new sleeves, as that is the toe-in adjustment point that the
mechanic turns when doing the front end alignment. Be sure to check the
overall length of the tie rod assembly prior to removal and try to get the
new parts as close as possible to the old length so it will be drivable to
the alignment shop. Always re-align after front end component swaps.

I am in the process of installing new right/left/center tie rods, upper and
lower ball joints, and am wondering about the necessity for new sleeves, or
whatever the correct terminology for the connectors is. I will appreciate
any input and advice on this matter.
