Sam's problem is most likely the monovalve... easy to check and replace.
John's problem sounds like the 30A strip fuse connections. The monovalve and the blower are likely both OK. Buy a new fuse holder... the little plastic box (the part number is on it) AND a new 30A strip fuse.

Axel, I only have heat when the car is moving as well. So, this valve is more than likely what I need versus a blower motor? I also have a short in my fusible link near the fuse box under the hood. When I move the link around, sometimes the blower will start blowing, but sometimes not. For sure, I can feel heat when I am moving though.

Sounds like you need a new monovalve. This valve regulates the flow of hot coolant (yeah, kind of an oxymoron...) from the engine into the heater core underneath the dash. If you only get heat at speed, it would indicate that your aux water pump is not operating. This is the pump that help circulate coolant through the heater core at low engine revs. Make sure you disconnect both the monovalve and the aux fan and verify they work OK. The reason is they ground through the AC pushbutton panel and if either of them are shorted, they'll fry the pushbutton box as well. Jonathan and George Murphy should be able to help you out. About $50 last time I changed mine, but the Euro has gone up since then.Regards, Axel J. Wulff610-731-5453 Cellular610-572-4611 Home

Hi all,
Recently, I've been getting no heat in my 88 SEC.
I checked that the coolant level is good but no heat blows on interior after the car has reached normal operating temp...
What could be causing this?
Thanks,
Sam
