Personally, I like to leave the rad for cooling, as these are warm engines.
I like Jonathan's suggestions. Install whatever unit you like, there is a
huge variation in sizes with more surface area, but thinner, single core,
thicker, but smaller length and width, multi-core. I use Dana myself on most
vehicles, as my wife works for them, in the thermal division. I also use
Air-Quip hoses and fittings.
I installed mine down below slightly offset, behind the front valance.
Unfortunately, both my 126's are now sold. We now have a Audi A4 B5 Quattro
Tip 1998, a Cadillac Escalade 2000 and the 190E 2.6 1991.
What I'd really like is one of Kirk's AMG's, But 2 daughters in college do
present their own set of financial challenges.
