Motor vehicle rules vary from state to state. When I lived in Delaware,
you just had to sign the title. Cars I bought in PA had to be notarized
or stamped.

Wait just a minute:
I don't know about Texas but here in N. Carolina the title(to transfer)
has to be notarized(stamped and signed by notary )and the person on the
front of the title must be the person to sign over the title as
witnessed by the notary. I thought this was the same across the U. S. A.
It is an Interesting situation and I would like to hear more.
