Bruce,

I don't blame anyone for being skeptical. I was before I tested for myself
and then became a distributor.

What is funny is the most skeptical guys in the beginning our now my best
customers.

It will take 92 to 96-97 depending on the blend in your area. This products
performance has been proven on a dyno many times on many different engines.

One 6 oz bottle cost $10.95 treats 30 gals.

Speaking of Jeeps my wife's 2007 Jeep Commander Flex Fuel V8 gets 13.5 MPG
without 17-18 MPG with LHP.

They also have a diesel product that is even more amazing. We have a Semi
Truck fleet customer who picked up 300 miles per tank for $14.95. He is not
complaining.

Go to www.liquidhorsepower.com.

I am really wondering about those claims (nothing personal).

First of all, in the industry they use the term "points" of octane pretty
liberally. It actually means tenths of a point. So when you say a can of LHP
raises octane 5 points, that means it goes from 92 to 92.5, which most
people do not realizes.

Second, fuel burning slower, if that's even possible, is bad for power and
maybe good for fuel economy. But I would still wait for a truly scientific
test of the results.

The ASTM test result is nice, but is mostly qualitative, not quantitative.
For example, exactly how much MPG increase is there, and how was it tested?
And same for HP. And I'd love to see before and after octane testing as
well.

Not saying it doesn't help, but those are some serious claims without real
scientifically derived data to back them up.

Hi Jay,

We have the same problem here in Colorado, except we have another factor at
5000 ft.

I use Liquid Horsepower in my car 1987 560SEC. This product has a combustion
catalyst that makes the fuel burn slower. My car runs better, gets better
mileage and keeps injectors clean even on mid grade fuel. It raises the
octane 5 points.

Last year I used this product with great results for 5000 miles on the Hot
Rod Power Tour in my 1965 Buick, with a Buick 455 Stage One motor at 10.5
compression with 36 degrees advance.

I am the Western Distributor and sell this product all over the country. We
have over 150 Harley Davidson dealers who swear by this product. Harleys
won't run properly on pump gas here.

It has also been tested using the standard ASTM D5500 test procedures. which
is commonly used for evaluation of intake valve deposit formation. This
method uses a1985 BMW 318i driven in a driving pattern comprising 10%, 20%
urban and 70% highway driving for 10,000 miles.

Results of the test were

1.LHP exhibits good intake valve detergency and meets EPA compliance
performance criteria

2. Improved fuel economy, reduced exhaust emissions, prevents drivability
deterioration (rough idling, stalling and surging)

3. Excellent clean up performance under a modified CARB D 5598 test method
at a concentration rate of 85 ppmv

If you want to try it out call me,

Good Luck,

Mike

Here in Florida, the big push is for E10 (10% ethanol blend) with a new law
passed that mandates its use by 2010. However, even though it burns cleaner
and is supposedly cheaper that regular gas, it is not being sold any cheaper
here and they neglect to tell the consumer that ethanol provides only about
2/3 the power of pure gas. Thus giving cars using E10 about three percent
less fuel economy while not running as well. Also, the older the car, the
gas mileage is affected even more. Cars built before 1982, may in fact,
sustain engine damage from using it.

Since it is primarily made from corn and corn is used as feed for cattle,
the cost of beef is increasing.

I guess that we'll have to start eating veggie burgers and quit driving our
coupes and donate them to either museums or scrap yards. Or maybe we'll have
to look at converting them to Prius power.

Ohhh such a senstive subject with our group ;-)

Like the prez sez, "we're hooked on oil!"

As I had said before, I would hope alternatives would be better researched.
The government here (germany) doesn't tax LPG (yet!!). I would think if our
(US) government were clever and is *really* serious about getting us off and
to improve overall security, they would follow suite.

Still it is nice to drive a guzzler from time to time ;-)
