Mine had pin striping until I got it repainted and I liked the way it looked. Silver car with a thin, darker colored stripe. The guy that repainted it couldn't pinstripe so the new paint job doesn't have any stripes. Had I been able, I would have had the stripes put on before the clear coat was added. Too late now.

I do not know if a pin stripe looks nice on a sec.
I see it more as a brake line, which damage the flow of the body shape.
I have not seen one sec with striping.

Ronny thanks for your imput. Let me describe the pin stripes. They are 1 MM wide and separated by about 3 MM. The top of the top pin stipe is located 2 CM above the natural ridge line of the fenders and door and break at the door handle and then start again to the end of the rear fender. They are quite subtle and do not glare at you but when you see them they really do add to breaking up of a vast amount of vertical body section. and you ink you have discoverd somehing. I have them on my car and I have seen them on other SEC's. Now if these were 3 or 4 MM wide they would look totally out of place on such a car.
I guess it boils down to personal preference. If I do them they will definitly be covered by the clear coats to protect them.
