[W126 Coupe] Help

I have always had good luck with Michelin all-season Pilots. The Coupe
hasn't been in deep snow, but the Michelins perform very well in the
rain - even cold winter rains of the Mid-Atlantic states.
I have been running Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S on my Saab for the last
couple of years. They are also very good in the rain. They've even
handled severe snow okay - I remember getting through the Poconos during
a snow storm one February without getting stuck. I would probably put a
set on the Mercedes when it needs new tires, if I decide to go with A/S
instead of summer tires.
Good luck,
Robin

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Help
Now that winter is approaching (or already here), can I get some
recommendations for tires? Mine skid the minute it starts raining. I'm
not looking for snow tires... just some 4 season tires that won't slip
when the pavement is wet or snowy. I realize that nothing is secure on
ice, so I'm not asking for miracles. Just some good traction.
Thanks.
John
