I like Continental ExtremeContact all seasons for all year use in a non-dedicated snow tire, and also Bridgestone KDW-S if they still make that is very good in wet/cold weather and decent in warm too.

Subject: [W126 Coupe] Help
Now that winter is approaching (or already here), can I get some recommendations for tires? Mine skid the minute it starts raining. I'm not looking for snow tires... just some 4 season tires that won't slip when the pavement is wet or snowy. I realize that nothing is secure on ice, so I'm not asking for miracles. Just some good traction.
Thanks.
John
