[W126 Coupe] Help

Now that winter is approaching (or already here), can I get some  
recommendations for tires?  Mine skid the minute it starts raining.   I'm not looking for 
snow tires... just some 4 season tires that won't slip when  the pavement is 
wet or snowy.  I realize that nothing is secure on ice, so  I'm not asking for 
miracles.  Just some good traction.
