[W126 Coupe] MBCOUPES Digest, Vol 48, Issue 30

Hi Dr. H

Well I had one of your symtoms and it was a gunked up fuel distributor.
(it was running too fat on one of the cylinders).

However I would venture to say it sounds electrical, where something
is interrering with control computer.

Did you check the condition of the fuses?  (see older post)  Could be
that something is pulling enough current in certain cases to cause the
motor control computer to become interrupted.
