First - verify that your viscous clutch on the main engine fan is good.
What are your engine temperatures doing while stopped? If they're rising, then there's your problem.
Does the auxiliary fan come on as it should to help the engine fan?
What's the refrigerant level?
My '87 560SEL had the same problem in Vegas. Got rid of the engine driven fan and went to dual electrics. Added enough R134 to minimize (but not eliminate) bubbles, verified the aux fan worked, and had the radiator cleaned and rodded. Nice cold AC now, even stopped in traffic in the middle of a Vegas summer.

Need help on this my AC used to work really well ... It still does fine while the car is moving
But once I stop for a few min. Like a traffic stop it does not do the job it get kinda warm
Any clue what is causing this .... (I converted over to the 134 stuff last year and recharged it)
I'm in Arizona and it's not even that hot yet and I can't get cooled off .... LOL
