Hi,
 
All you guys aware of the in line gas filter (screen) located  at the main 
line and fuel distributer junction?
The part books don't list it and the MB dealers/parts deny  it's existence, 
so I guess once it gets blocked from the factory it usually is  not replaced?
I had a hard time finding it for my 87' SEL about a year ago  and this 
Southern Cal Mercedes Parts guy tells me he has 10 SECs, SELs and  he never saw it. 
So I sent a photo.  
Both my gas filters were somewhat blocked to the point where a  couple of 
cylinders are not firing. I guess there is trash in my  injectors?
