[W126 Coupe] trunk lock

Sometimes the trunk in my 560SEL doesn't want to open - it's unlocked but
the outside button will not open it. I've found that if I lift up on the
trunk lid and then give the opening button a quick jab, it will open. Give
it a go.

Hi K:

Try a key in the driver's door and see if you can hear the cycle of the
vacuum actuator on the trunk lid when unlocking. If the system is
confirmed as unlocked and that push button still refuses to push in, try
another key, make sure the key you are using is clean with no buildup on
the edges. Maybe try moving the key up and down a bit. Last is try and
turn the key to 3pm and then depress the button.

If this clears it great if not, try posting to mercedeslist.com where
there are several MB technicians and pros some active, some retired that
may be able to give you a few pointers. Good luck
