[W126 Coupe] STARTING PROBLEMS

Larry,
 When you answered my question about the car starting problem were you speaking of the fuel calculator? That's what I got off Ebay new in box Bosch for $60.00 and are just waiting for it to arrive install. If anyone can tell me if you adjust the fuel dist. should it change your idle rpm?
Please anyone that can help before I drop it off at the big buck shops here in Scottsdale,AZ
