[W126 Coupe] A sudden loss of forward motion

Hi Shin san:

There are many things that need to be checked to troubleshoot that kind
of problem.

In no particular order...
check fuel pressures as it's possible the fuel filters need replacing or
one of the two fuel pumps are getting weak. You do not describe a total
but temporary loss of power like the engine just shut down, so probably
not the fuel pump relay.

check ignition system...physically inspect the interior of the cap,
rotor for pitting, traces of carbon, severe wear. When was the last
service of these components and the plug wires and spark plugs?

It would help to know mileage on the SEC, mileage at documented last
service and what the service entailed. Are there any other symptoms you
noted?

Anyway, these are a few checks I'd suggest you make.

Regards,
Dick
