Definitely sounds like the alternator. I had the same problem with mine a few years ago. No warning light on the dash. Your car is running off the battery. When the battery runs out of juice the car stalls. After sitting, the battery will regenerate some charge and start. However, continually depleting the battery will cause the battery to fail as well. Then it won't hold a charge after you get the alternator fixed, meaning you'll have to replace the battery as well.

Yes, the engine turns over and starts. But only after it sits awhile. After it sits, it starts, everything seems normal. After running a few minutes the lights go out, engine dies, then it acts completely dead - nothing. I'm going out to it right now and see what it's like this morning.?

OK, well, does it just crank when you go to start, I.E the engine turns over, just it does not fire or you turn the key and literally Nothing.?
?
Knowing if the engine is turning over is critical...?
