[W126 Coupe] Looking for second Mercedes

Hello,
 
Getting ready to put the 860 SEC away for the winter - snowed in upstate NY  
today.
 
Is anyone familiar with the chance of bringing back an MB from Europe? I  
will be in Italy and France a couple of times this winter and spring. In  
previous trips I noticed the all the diesels getting 44-45 mpg. I still like the  300 
series wagons and would entertain bringing back a used diesel wagon. Anyone  
ever done this? Any pitfalls other than no one to complain to if it is a 
lemon?
