[W126 Coupe] Interior Lights

Doesn't sound like the interior light is at fault. The problem is more likely to be the push switch on your driver's door post (by the hinges). Could be the switch is just stuck. Make sure the switch posts are popping fully out when you open the door. (There are two of 'em.)

I need to get access to the interior light above the mirror. Do I just pry it down or is there some tab that needs to be pushed to remove the light diffuser?
The interior light does not come on when the driver side door opens. It does come on when the passenger side door opens.
