[W126 Coupe] Interior Lights

I need to get access to the interior light above the mirror. Do I just pry
it down or is there some tab that needs to be pushed to remove the light
diffuser?
The interior light does not come on when the driver side door opens. It does
come on when the passenger side door opens.
