Not sure why one would choose Bose...they are overpriced and not all That
impressive.

Are you just changing speakers or are you going to swap out head units/amps
etc?  If just speakers it's not worth spending much $$..the sound coming
from the standard head unit/factory amps is so-so @ best in which case high
end speaker componentry would be a waste.

However, if you are going to re-do the whole system (as it should/needs to
be if truly hi-fi sound is what you are after) then there are a number of
good speakers available.
