Being in NJ myself, I'm there if it happens.

I wish I could take the time to do the drive out to Las Vegas, as proposed, as well. I did the reverse drive from LV to NJ (in a much lesser vehicle) last Winter and loved it, but it did take 4 long days. 

Realistically, I think the Mississippi will be the limit of my touring this year.

Hi SEC Friends,

Thought you would like to share my joy my 1991 560SEC earned Best of Marque trophy at Deutsche Marque Concours Sunday in VA, the highest honor.  Also took First Place on the 560SL and Bill Gallagher took second on his 1991 560SEC (actually 3 different judging classifications.) Guess who does the detailing.

To this end I propose Sat July 28th for an annual Party Meet in NJ, where this year we could focus on detailing issues of concern to their owners, as our afternoon activity (last year we had a driving rallye.)  As in last year's group effort to share expenses, I collect a Couple Cost (this is a social event for husbands and wives, not just guys) and provide lunch, all day beverages, and dinner and dessert as much as you can eat.  Please email me if you would like to do this event, any ideas, etc. I have heard from some of you already interested but please keep in touch so we may proceed if enough feedback.  We are all busy people but do need time to smell the roses and enjoy the cars for their beauty!
