[W126 Coupe] Fw: 560 SEC - suspension queston

Yesterday I bought a 560SEC, first registered Feb 1989, built Nov 1988, smoke silver with mushroom hide, ASR, UK spec. This car will sit alongside my existing 500 (see picture in members' section) until I decide whether to keep both or sell one.

The self-levelling rear suspesion on the 560 is new to me, and I'm wondering if anyone could refer me to any sites that explain how to how to replace the fluid, correct fluid to use, any other maintenance procedures. I read Mike Ramay's notes in the archive, but would appreciate any other links.

There is a procedure for jacking the car in the owners' manual, but it makes reference to a height level control knob next to the headlamp switch... It says to place this knob into the locked position before jacking the car, but my 560 doesn't have this knob. Are there any special precautions before raising a car with self-levelling suspension?

Cheers,

Fred.
