Clayton, Chain was changed when? At 150K, after you bought the car, or before? I would start with having the complete tuneup done, especially if the parts are original and see what that gets you. Running a can of GB77K thru car now, but now it seems it might be getting worse. From very intermittent sight feeling to a more prominint. Also I noticed that when I started car the other morning garaged it blew a little blavk smoke out at 1st. like running rich. Should I try turn a little lean ? I'm about half a tank thru itat this point. Keep driving and burn it up or top off w/more premeium? Got car off Ebay w145k and no records that were to be sent, but car ran as smooth as glass. The chain was suppose changed at 150k aper converversation, but car has orig. wires,inj..cap rotor and i haven't change plugs due to surgeries. If it doesn't stop after ajustment of fuel dist. Where should I start 1st. I found a mechanic I know that has workrd on benzs for quite awhile that I can trust. Thanks for any info. Also wil be tring to get any records from benzs dealer or shop in Texas in the meantime.Clayton MoizoThe MB Coupes Website!W126 SEC Mailing ListPostings remain property of MB
