[W126 Coupe] Parts..

Can anybody with a little insight in Mercedes parts# confirm or deny 
that the "hinge/arm mechanism" that holds the engine bonnet on the SEC 
share the part with the rest of the W126 lineup (SE/SEL)? Mine snapped 
and I found a used one from a SE. It looks the same to my naked eye but 
I'm having trouble fitting it without getting a lot of tension in the 
bonnet. It feels just like one or two of the arms are about 3-5mm longer 
on the SE/SEL mechansim but I doesn't seem logical...

On another note, what year did the SEC get the wider front wheel arches?
