[W126 Coupe] Towing eye

I have lost the small grille that fits over the towing eye of my 1986 SEC. & 
can't get another one. I am thinking of fitting a long distance driving 
light into the hole, as the towing eye seems to be redundant. Has anyone 
ever done this?       Jack OZ
